The Treeladies cc  CK1 2005/085476/23 The new members are still being processed with the Registrar of companies and Close Corporations but the Breakdown is as follows:

Numbulelo Habana  25.5%
Inocentia Papu        25.5%
Theresa Myburgh    24.5%
Susan van Dyk        24.5%

There is an agreement of shareholders also included which shows the terms of ownership and final handover and sale of 49% to Black partners after 3 years when all skills have been transferred at a price agreed by all members to be established at market related values, eg based on sales and stock at hand. 

The Treeladies operated as a trading as for the first years and then became a cc in 2005 with the shares as follows:

Susan van Dyk        45 %
Terry Myburgh        45 %
Inocentia Papu        10 %

 This has changed when the plans become a fully fledged BEE company.

The Current stock of indigenous trees is:                   20,000
Planned expansion of indigenous trees is                   90,000
We also plan to grow seedlings for nurseries              100,000

 The horticultural therapy component of the nursery hopes to empower and employ people with HIV and Aids and in the long run working with plants is a healing environment for these workers. This is based on a Canadian Model.
