The number of farms that have joined the co-op has increased to 10 and this has been included in the funding applications.

All farms have been assessed and the training and materials needs evaluated.

The farmers will be trained by the PEATA and this will be over the next 2 years where they will be brought up to NQF2 level.

There are sometimes two farms in each region and this makes it easy for milk collections and lucerne deliveries.

This programme is also included in the ASGISA programme which is run by the Deputy President, Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka.
